Do 94-98 GTs and V6s have the same rear-ends?
Alright, I am kind of new to all of this stuff, but what on the V6 Rear-end is 7.5" and on the GT rearend is 8.8"? LOL Sorry I know it sounds stupid, but most of my knowledge lies in front wheel drive formats.
A pic of the actual piece that makes it 7.5"/8.8" would be great.
Also, the 2.73" gears in the V6 is this thing right here, right...?

Except that one is for a Chevy...
Also, I have a 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords magazine in front of me, looking at the Summit Racing Equipment spread, and it shows all of these ring and pinions for '8.8" Ford', meaning only for a GT, right?

the 7.5 an 8.8 refer so the size of the carrier (housing) the gears (2.73) in this case refers to the ring and pinion which is what you have pictured!! if you still need a pic i can find pics of a 7.5 v. a 8.8 rear if you need
Awesome man! You kick ***!
If I got enough power out of my engine eventually, would it be a good idea to swap in a 8.8" rear-end, or is that even possible (i.e.- bolt-in possible, because anything is 'possible')?
