Default dum clutch problem

so i installed the spec stage 3 cltuch into my 01. thanks again to those who gave me the insight. but sumtin wierd is happen to my clutch pedal. its so irratating i dont wanna drive it. the pedal is 7 inches off the floor. the dam clutch grabs if u push the pedal down 1 inch. so the bottom 6 inches of travel are usless. i can shift and take off smoothly by onlt pressing the clutch 1 inch in which i have no problem with but wtf is the rest of the travel for. im short on cash rite now cant pick up the adjuster kit for a while. it was never so high before. im happy how is grabs but y is the pedal so high and lower travel is uselsss. how can i lower the travel of the pedal without getting an entire new aduster and cable?

you might have a little bit of adjustment left in the factory plastic quadrent....see if you can follow this,
1. get under the pedals and look above the gas pedal for the clutch quadrent, you will see the cable that hooks into it, if you cant find it push the pedal in, and you can see it rotate.
2. put your hand (with your index finger right where the tip of the cable is with your right hand, and with the left push down on the pedal like 3 inches,
3. hold your right hand steady and pull up on the clutch pedal, let it click mabye 2 times then restart the car and put in gear and see where it grabbs. if you need more adjustment do the same thing, but only 1 or 2 clicks at a time, and if you do it too much, and want to back it off a little bit then
4 look up under the dash again at the plastic quadrent with the teeth on it, you will see a smaller piece about the size of an orange slice. and shaped like one too!!
5 rotate it very slowly (it will only rotate one direction) and you will see the big part of the quadrent move and only let it move the other direction one or two teeth. trust me, only 1 or 2 teeth is a big adjustment. good luck, and more questions call my cell ill PM it to you, im bout to leave for a cruise. good luck

did you put the clutch in yourself? if so how much bigger was the stage 3 pressure plate from the stock one? if it was like an inch deeper than that is your problem, but if it was the same thickness then once again i have no clue...
