Default Power Pack

has anyone ever installed a power pack from super six motorsports? I have been looking at getting one...what are the power gains? was it worth the money spent?

I only know of one person that actually did the power pack thing, and I can't remember who it is. Put it this way, if you're serrious about making power, it's one of only a handful of ways you can do it. Unfortunately all you can do is guess at the power gains, because the gains will all depend on supporting mods, the aggriveness of the cam, and the aggresiveness of the port job. Remember, get the port job that's made for what you're running, not what sounds cool. Too much air flow can be just as bad as too little on certain set ups. Super Six makes it very clear as to what's made for what, so make sure you're getting the one made for your application is all.

Why go FI if you want N/A? Super Six ran 11's N/A in their car last Summer. Not many on boost doing that on this forum.

Talk to Tom (or any of the boys) at SSM about what you have and what your goal is. They'll set you up with just what you need, and not sell you something that is extra or not exactly the right thing. They can also explain options for you.

The power packs they sell are great. Their heads are some of the best. If I didn'tmake my own, I'd use their parts.

with the stage 3 and proper cam you could get about half the gains they claim. which is still good. but, if you have the heads shaved it will raise your compression and get you more power than just the heads alone

They have dyno sheets to back every hp/tq number they claim. They are pretty dead on accurate when it comes to that.
