But ricer isn't exactly a bad term. I own a 4 Banger Stang, and am waiting to hit 25 (cheaper insurance in Ontario) to get my 93 GT........but for now my fast car is a 1986 Celica GTS. 5 Spd, Custom Blue Paint, Sterio.....and I stomp the crap out of Civics, Integras, V6 Stangs and V6 Cameros (barely). But am I a ricer? My car is quick, and it has all apperance mods.....but does that make me a ricer? no. The true definition of a ricer is a Young kid who puts some stickers on his car and thinks he can kill ferraris.

We all love our cars, weither it be Civics, or Mustangs. Lay off the ricer trip.

 

True....but a V6 Mustang isnt exactly the definition of an american muscle car. I believe to be an american muscle car it must have a V8.

 

I would have to agree with 89lxcoupe there... and GM v6's are not really that fast at all.. i killed my friends 03 monte carlo SS with my v6 stang...

 

to be muscle it has to have a v8? am i mistaken or did the very first 64 1/2 stang have an inline 6? so with new tech. a v6. i do believe the v6 of today is more powerful than the very first pony car with a 6 cyl. imo

 

People in my school think that a stock civic can take mustang. I just tell them to line up with me and not another word comes out of their mouth. Way to many ricers at my school. Only two or three cars can take me, and my engine is bare bone stock for now. Congrats on the ricer kill.

Ricers are all those people who drive those hondas with the fricken huge wings and fart pipe exhaust. They try to race anyone and everyone that they have no chance against. So if speed kills then honda drivers live forever.

 

No, not at all. These people who say things are around guys who own riced out hondas, and think that if you just add a fart pipe that you can take on anything. These are the guys who watch the fast and the furious and think that its cool to act like you can race with a car that has a body kit, wing, fart pipe, and a new paint job but don't ever think of performance besides nos. There are many imports that I do appreciate because these are the guys who actually do the hard work, and aren't cocky. There are 3 imports that I have respect for around my area. Two civics and an Integra GSR. These cars actually have a growl and not a whine. These are the cars that can do damage around, and these are the guys who know what they are doing. Yes, all imports get a bad rap because of how many ricers, but there are a few that aren't ricers.

 

My first mustang was a 2.3L mustang. But that car was totally unreliable. Had about 6000 gees into it and after I blew the motor it never ran the same. But I love my 01 V6 and have quite a bit of mods done to it to this point. Next is my Panhard Bar which will go in after a few months. I think next year going for the new Cobra hopefully.

lol yea ricers are funny....but not all ricers are foreign....the other day some guy tried to race me in a probe....lol needless to say, i beat him.... also this chevy blazer (it was the fast edition ...similiar to fords lighting but i dont know what its called)who had neon lights and this wack paint job...i beat him by like 4 car lentghs off the line...but then he did the ricer flyby, lol i just laughed...i just have an 00 auto v6 wit a cai...so it made me feel good
actually the best race i had was a ricer civic hatchback boy, lol wit this huge wing, big fartcan, this bodykit where the paint didnt even match the rest of the car , and blasting the stereo wit his girl...he revved at me and i literally pointed and laughed at him, then he flicked me off and revved again...i think he had a stick cuz he was rolling back a lot...i just turned off traction control and the light turned green....beat him by about 4 cars and stayed that way til the next light...LOL he was soo heated..but his girl gave me this smile...hahaaha silly ricer, vtecs are for kids...
