That stuff is dangerous to use. Its good for cars with high mileage that you expect to die soon, but i wouldnt use it on a new engine. Since this is an old car, i guess i would say go ahead and use it like chick says...

Why do you think it's bad to use it Red, just curious? Most of them are just alcohol, kerosene or some type of petroleum based solvent which is no biggy, infact, they can burn off carbon build up in the heads, dry up moisture from your fuel system and break down varnish in your carb or injectors. I hear its bad on a new car. One dude here in our neighborhood said it completely punished his engine, with only a few thousand miles on it...

Well, I guess it can dry out rubber seals, but it like 1 pint to 21 gallons of gas. I use the stuff on occasions. I put a bottle in my wave Runners at the start of every season to dry up moister and clean my injectors. I will say I replace my plugs after I run a tank through because it fouls them out.

if he got the SVO.... i have a 2.3L it has the 1bbl carb on it trust me that thing isnt gonna pull on anything. if yours has a 1bbl on it thats the reason it stalls because it cant suck much more air...or it probably needs a tune.
