Really? you have problems at 106. I do about 100 (I dont usually break it though) every day for lunch at school, we only have 45 miniutes off and no good resturants within 15 miles.... bad combo
you need to slow the f*ck down before you kill somebody. i know this from experiece becasue i wrecked my first car a couple years ago becasue i was drivin like that. hit another car too. i got lucky and nobody got hurt.

+1. Why do you want top end power? There are no highways in this country you can go ***** out on and if you're going to a drag strip you want quickness not speed.

oh and for more top end power, i would agree w/ the ported and polished intakes. that should get you some good gains up top.

Hiway 5 in California has expanses up to 60 miles with no on/off ramps and doesn make ANY notticable turns in area's for as much as 300 miles. That is a hiway you can go ***** out forever and at night in Northern Cali (Between Sacramento and Red Bluff) there is no one out for the most part and your alone, well except the cops hiding behind the Oleander bushings

How are our cars not meant to go that fast? I topped mine out at 113 when I had to get to Redding in a heartbeat for a family emergency (Mother in law was dieing and died the next day.)
I did 100-113 for about an hour and a half streight, not a single soal on the road to slow me, I think it was kinda gods way of getting me up there quicker. If I hadnt gotten there when I did she would have died on her property in shingletown and probably would have been eaten by her 13 dogs... All pure bred so you know they are crazy like that, she was a breeder to explain having that many.

My car is so damn stable at high speeds its not even funny. Stock 95' V6 with a damn cold air. I could have done at least another 40mph more but I didnt have the speed limiter removed... That was a crappy night I didnt enjoy it one bit because I was on edge the whole way up searching constantly for other drivers, cops and animals. Very freakin stressful....

As for the spacer, that actually lowers your RPM potential but gives you a little horsepowe and torque. Honestly though you should have no business going over 6000 rpms on a stock valvetrain. I have seen several cases of missing a shift or over revving and collapsing or blowing apart a roller lifter (About 6300rpms.)

I had VMP lower my first choice of 6250 down to 6000rpms for my rev limiter.

Also you want to know stable, drive a Z... Its comfortable, its fast, it corners better than anything else I have ever driven, it get decent fuel economy, timeless looks and when released from the factory in Japan in 89' was dubbed an Instant classic.

I have been to 150-160 in my wifes 93' 300ZX and it hug's the ground and makes lane changes effortlessly. Its pure beauty in motion. You havnt lived untill you drive one

PS. These speeds were performed on empty roads or closed courses, dont be dumb and do this in traffic.

Ill give you a dumb story if you like....

Her Z is a 14.8 second car(Not that fast for the 1/4 but its stock and after 2nd gear it sets you back hard...) So anyways here is one of the dumbest things I have done to date and dont care to do again.

I was in Rancho Cordova (Sacramento County) and I was at the Whiterock and Sunrise intersection going south on sunrise. Ther was some honda pos next to me or some crap revving the **** out of his car.
So I put the auto into 1st and set the stall at 2200rpms andI wait for the light to change.

The light changes and I hear him squal his tires, I just dig and go - 1/2 car - car - 2 cars - 4 cars - 8 cars Im beating this guy bad and I had just hit the 1/4 mark and see I have hit the fastest ever (101mph) I keep going to 130mphand I see a Semi pull his slow *** out into both lanes and stall...

He was 1/8 mile or less ahead of me.... Im like FUC* so I lay into the breaks easy to slow her down, she isnt slowing down well (New brakes no break in period) im coming up on him fast and thinkin (**** im going to slice the top off!!!)

I appy full break pressure and nothing, they are gone!!! F-U-C-*!!!! At about 40-45mph I swerve my scared *** right, goinginto the street he was coming from.... I make a sharpleft and break traction a little on all the sand and leaves on the ground and stop.....

That was stupid.... I had to replace my breaks because I glazzed them something horrible.
I havnt done something like that since.

Had I broken in the new brakes I probably would have been ok.
This wasEXACTLY the first drive since changing them.

i doin't mean top end power as im mph! i mean rpm's! like first gear at 4000-5000rpm, 2nd gear 4000-5000rpm, 3rd gear 4000-5000 rpm.

i am getting a cobra rear end with 3.27 gears, tma street turbo kit, 39# cobra injectors, 90mm Lightning MAF, 255lph fuel pump, bbk regulator. and custom exhaust: 3" down pipe with 3" pypes mini-cat, 2.5" y-pipe, 2.5" x-pipe, either spintech prostreets or borla pro-XS mufflers, 2.5" tailpipes and magnaflow 3.5" tips. then a whole bunch of suspension mods, and drivetrain and apearence mods. then i want to do an ssm stage 3 split port swap with windstar intake and 70mm FRPP TB and 1.7 FRPP roller rockers and stuff like that. and some other little things here and there.

the turbo kit should be done by the end of this summer.

http://tmaturbo.com/dyno.htm
check out these dyno graphs, once i do the split port swap i'll be good. check out the low rpm power band on the single port.

i should be at about 270hp and 290 or so torque by the end of the summer.
