the stock intake with a k&n and silencer + maf screen removed doesnt wistle at all, glad u fixed it if it was drivin u nuts but not sure if u hurt ur performace (what little there was) at all

Its still drawing air from the wheel arch, and its still pulling air through a better filter and through smooth alu tubes rather than a stock plastic intake, Only thing ive done is protect the filter, which also muffles the whistle, you still get the deep sound when pulling away though , which is what i like

effectievly all you did was extend the stock intake and filter into the wheelwell
