Dude, you're just nuts. I've had a couple of cars back in the day. 4 bangers or V6's ironically...That I would swear felt like that. You're just expecting more, and it's not there. It's a V6 Mustang. All around, it's pretty disappointing when you floor it.

Mine does the same thing. I dont think it's a mind thing either, because If im at a stop and floor it, the car wont even squeel the tires and slowly accelerates. But if I just gradually push it down the tires will spin, the car takes off and is much faster.
I also figured out a way to accelerate faster from a roll If anyone cares. While your going let off the gas real quick, (let the RPM's drop to about 1k) and slam the throttle. Instant acceleration. I'm not sure what makes this work, but it does.
