i just took the rev limiter off on my car and holy **** i had my bro rev it and that thing sounds amazing and is sooo damn loud compared to when it could only go up to 4krpms...im gunna take another exhuast clip...it sounds like that clip with the green mustang thats cammed

yes u can,u cant take off the rev limiter with a tuner

 

what??? i am an 02 5speed, i dont have a rev limiter, i take it to whatever i want..

 

+1 why couldn't you rev over 4k, although i guess a better question is why you would want to rev your motor to over 4k without a load on it? are you trying to break something? if so you are in the right direction

I figured if the rev limiter was off the auto wouldn't shift.

 

U take off the LIMITER in Neutral and not in DRIVE, u leave the drive limiter alone
