ticking sound????

Yeah, but the aftermarket headers don't do anything, and I can put that $50 towards something that does make a difference. The guy at the muffler shop re-welded every bead on my headers so they are like brand new now.
Stock headers only have 3 weld points. Aftermarket and rewelding will have a bead ALL the way AROUND.

Correct. The guy ran a new bead all the way around.

Just wait until you got to put your new exhaust in . That's what happened to me. I went to remove the pipe off the manifod and the whole flange came off in my hand.[:@]

It seems to me that the ticking sound only happens when the engine revs up to about 4k RPMs then it stops. Is driving the car while its making this ticking sound going to hurt the motor? How costly is it to have it fixed?
