i think im just gonna buy these axles i found at a junk yard from a '96 ford ranger cuz they have the 7.5 rearend and 28 spline axles i just wasnt sure if the stangs have 28 spline axles
i just wanna fix it asap. its just a car to get me to work so there is really no point of going with the 8.8 cuz i have a g35 coupe as my fun car

If you are luckey you may find an old ranger with a trac-lok diff and a set of 3.73's or at least 3.45's

What ranger trucks have the 8.8?

I don't think any of the rangers have an 8.8 diff but they can come with steeper gears and a trac-loc

ranger axles won't work. they are the wrong length.

any axle from a mustang 94-98 will be a direct fit to your car regardless of 8.8 or 7.5

I have some spares, I'd have to look to see if they are ABS or not, but $40 + shipping and they're yours. I put in an 8.8 so I'll never use them.
