I've heard the windstar is the best, but the f150 is slightly easier.
actually the f150 would probably be a little harder. it is quite a bit taller than the windstar and all around bigger. it is heavy alumnium instead of the plastic stuff the windstar is made of. the aluminum would make it great for porting and polishing though. the f150 would also probably be a little easier to tap holes for vac ports. the windstar is risky because you dont want to strip out the plastic

Edmunds lists the windstar as 200/225 hp/tq, and the only difference between their engines and ours is the upper intake, correct? I don't understand whereyour gains are coming from considering ours are rated at 193/220

edit: I guess if your numbers were at the crank...

i just stoped to get dinner but wow, the windstar is actually goin good. my only problem is i need a 01-04 throttle cable and have nowhere to get one...its ****in gay, i might have to wait to do this till i get one. other than that its awesome. im gonna use hood pins to hold my hood down. i can shut it but i cant slam it shut like i need 2 so ill use pins. now im goin back to work on it
