I am wondering what are the benifits of porting and if i take it to a machine shop vs geting a pre-ported manifold from redlined whats the diff in price.

Not really a difference, porting is porting. just depends how much you port. Such as SSX they have different stages depending on the application that you want. However, there could be a quality issue, the basic garage machine shop could do it half aass.

what diff in hp would be made with these ported manifolds? how easy are they to install. will i gain low end speed?
