Default Better acceleration with mileage?

i think i asked this sometime before in a different thread but...

has anyone noticed a difference in their acceleration (faster) after about 12,000 miles?
my car seems faster now, or i just learned when to give the gas at the right time.
does anyone elses RPM go into the redline/ is it safe?

Are you auto? Its not supposed to go into the redline, and its not safe for your engine. Sometimes cars have a break in point, but its usually more like 2000 miles, not 12000. I bet youre just a better driver with it.

Have you owned it since brand new? If so, have you changed anything? type of gas? type of driving? highway or city? Anything like that? New tires or anything you can think of?

If you havent owned it from the beginning, maybe you are taking much better care then the person before you.

i have owed it since it came from the factory everything else is exactly the same.. no new tires, same gas as always, no new mods.. i have been driving less on the highway but i dont think that would change anything

Redline RPMs isnt safe on auto,u should get that checked out and as far as the acceleration it might be because of the break in process of the engine itself

well i mean it only touches the redline like maybe 3 millimeters into it

but now the car really jumps into second too and its only happeneds during "pedal to the metal" when i hit the gas at the right timing.

hmmm. I dont know what would cause that change. Unless there is something wrong with the transmission that would make it shift harder....but that wouldnt explain the better performance....Im lost.
