Default droping question?

I want to get my stang dropped 1.5 inch. Im getting new 18 inch rims, so i want the drop so it will blend nicley, but my question is i live in NY so i will take the rims off in the winter time
and put my stock rims on which are smaller ( 15inch, i think ) and was woundring with a drop will this effect me badley.
Would it be like a 4.5 inch drop ( 1.5 drop + 3inch difference in rims = 4.5)

Not sure if you can follow that but post if any problems..

It will not be like a 4.5" drop. Your15s have taller sidewalls than your 18s do. The bigger rims are compensated by the side walls on the 15s. If you put the two wheels side by side their overall height should be the same(ground to the top of the tire). If they are not, the difference in their overall height will be the difference in the height of the car when you switch wheels. I am also in NY and use stock 15s in the winter and 17s in the summer with 245/45/17 on them and if you put them next to eachother they are exactly the same height.[/align]

Just to let you know, my 18s with 235-40 tires on are the same height as my stock 15s with 205 -60's. So no, it will look great either way.
