Spark Plug Question
Can someone help me out with a question regarding my spark plugs for a 2001 V6, 3.8L Stang.
I just recently changed my spark plugs on my 2001 mustang. I took out the stock ones from 01 and replaced them with OEM plugs and made sure the gap was right. I didn'tchangethe spark plug wires though. After installing the parts I took that car out for a road test and noticed a slight hesitation in the vechicle when I accelerated. I noticedit morewhen I had my A/C on though. Has anyone had this problem or known someone who has? If so how do I fix it? The car was running fine prior to the spark plug change. Could it be now the wires now need changing?

Replace the wires. Pulling on them to get them off may have broke some of the wires so they are not letting the full amount of current pass through (more resistance).

replacing the plugs without replacing the wires is kind of defeating the purpose.

Changing the wires is nearly a MUST when changing plugs.
