Wet is more tunable, and can make bigger power gains, but requires a nice deal of tuning right off the bat.

Dry is easier to tune, but not as over all tunable, nor can it make as much power. Can be installed in light shots without too much tuning, but tuning should still be done.

Nitrous Express, Zex, and NOS are gonna be your best brands.

I'm not following you. A 50 hp shot either wet or dry is still 50 hp so how can a 50 hp wet shot have more power than a 50 hp dry? The only way a wet shot can make more power is when you exceed the injectors capabilities.

he said can make bigger power gains. he means if you go over a 100 shot..i dont know exactly where you should draw the line, but if you go over a certain amount of power you will need a wet shot.

I'm not sure as of now which supercharger I will use. I would love to have a kenne bell twin screw, but if I can't make an adapter plate or find one soon, then I am going to go with the procharger kit. I found a shop where i live who will sell and install the procharger for $3300. But either way, i want at least a single stage of nitrous, either a 35 or 50 shot to get me off the line. I hate the hessitation that this V6 has when you punch it at a dead stop.

Yeah I figured that's what he meant but that's apples and oranges. The OP said "a small shot" and you can get small shots in wet or dry. If you want big hp gains then a wet shot is the only way to go but for small shots (under 100 hp) a dry system is much simpler and much safer.

Just so you know, when shopping, all nitrous kits are basically the exact same. Only one company makes nitrous solenoids, and they make them for everybody. I run ColdFusionN2O and have hooked up a ton of their kits. They make everything but the solenoids and switches in house and are great with customer service. I've installed over 100 of their kits. I've also installed ZEX, NOS, NitrousExpress, and Holley orange bottle kits. They all work the same and pretty much have all the exact same components. A dry shot kit has no clue what kind of car it's going on, so a V8 kit is no different than a V6 kit.

Buy an MSD window controller, about $100, and it's extremely good insurance. Purge cost the same amount as the controller, but purge is useless, it has very little advantage, and you most likely won't even notice it.

All i was stating is that if u add a 25 shot to charged car u will gain more then 25 hp due to the fact the car is charged in a N/A application then the 25 would produce 25.

So in other words if his goal is 400rwhp but after the charger he only gets 375rwhp and then adds a 25 shot to get 400 rwhp. The 25 shot will give him more then 25hp since its charged. So that 25 shot would get him to his 400 goal butthat mightgive him more power then the block can handle due to the fact that 25 shot will gain him prob 40+ more rwhp instead of the 25 he wants.

Spray on a blown car isn't something rookies should mess with. I lifted the head off my 4.2L set up when I was shooting to make a 600+ pull. (NX kit with the roots blower)

Dry kits depend on your fuel system to added the extra fuel needed instead of having fuel injected with the nitrous (like a wet kit). If you're blower has your injectors maxed out, adding a dry kit will be a bad thing.

The down side to the wet kit with our cars is that the fuel tends to pool in the upper intake runners. When that happens, you risk having that ignite and blow the intake up through your hood.

And that is exactly why I plan experiment with my stock motor so I am more familiar with the systems when my stroker is put in.
