Default Spark Plug Question

So I changed the spark plugs and wires the other day with Oem parts and test drove my car. My car is a 01, 3.8L V6 Mustang. While driving the car I got on it a bit more than I normally do to see the response of the new plugs and wires I put in it. To my suprise I noticed a slight hesitation in the vechicle when I went 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th. The hesitation was like the car was losing power and stumbling the more I got on it. I know I gaped the plugs right and installed the new wires correctly. Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it? Could it be something else like an oxygen sensor, EGR, Fuel filter?

Did you make sure to push the plug side of the wire ALL the way onto the plug? It should 'Click' as it grabs the top of the plug. I'm betting you didn't push hard enough on one or more plugs and you have a small air-gap on the wire to plug connection in one cylinder.
