Back to my '97 V6 convert....the book says open the door and hit the lock button on the remote key FOB and the "Theft" light will turn on...close the door and the light will say lite for 30 seconds then arm the system. My car does not do this...the "Theft" light comes on when I start the car, so I know it works, but does not come on when I arm the system. Is this an easy fix or a trip to the dealer? Thanks!!!
