Do I Need This?

Do I Need This?
My ride has been kind of rough so I figured I should get new tires (and rims--yeah!). I got the alignment done and all it got me was arough ride on new wheels. Then it dawns on me...shox! While I'm @ it, I get some C's (!). I show up at the shop to have everything put on and one of the guys says "Where's the cambers?". WTF!!! More money?! I trust that i need this new piece 'cause none of the guys there call me "Sweetie". So I go home, get on ebay and find camber kits...somelook like bolts and some look like plates and the prices are ranging from $25 to over $200. So are cambers necessary? Is it something that I'll be wishing I'd gotten done with the shox and springs? And is it a bolt or plates that I'm looking for?

I know the Bachs will only give me about a 1 inch drop or so. Do I only need the cambers if the drop is going to be more than 1 and a quarter or if I bought something other than Ford Racing?
