Default a possible problem?

Now I got an auto as you may all know, and it shifts pretty harsh. And when i say harsh, picture a 15 year old kid learning to work a manual for the first time. Shifting from 1st to 2nd, its so harsh it throws people, and the tires squeal again. I have changed some of the shift pressure and set the torque mod. to 50%, but would it effect me that much?

So I take it that you have a tuner and modified the tranny?
