why do you keep posting in the v6 section if you have a gt?
it doesn't matter what kind of car he has, he could have a riced out honda for that matter, as long as he doesn't cause problems or post spam etc... everyone has their own opinion they can post in any forum.

I have a GT bumper on the way, and my exhaust is going to need to be raised about 2 inches, so I am just going to have the shop cut the welds, and reweld it a little higher on the tips. I dont think I am going to need any bends or anything.

Is it true that you dont have to do any of that if you have the mac or pypes midpide... They are suppose to be made for a GT exhaust and somebody on here installed one without probs.

it depends on what kind of hangers they used. in my case, if i ever did a GT bumper, they could just cut a section out of my hangers and re-weld. voila tips are raised. that is on my car though. post some pics of your hangers. or why didn't you just ask the shop about it before you left?

yet again, don't listen to what Durr727 says cause he doesn't know what he's talking about. you can't just raise the tips because it's connected to the midpipe connected to the headers, which is in a line. you have to get bigger tips or put the old bumper back on so it looks right.
Who the f*ck are you?

I had the same problem buddy and the shop fixed it with no problem, they bent some new pipes and they raised it up and put a nice set of tips on it. Looks fine to me.

OMFG! I WANT YOUR CAR....LUV IT BRO......HOW MUCH ARE YOU ASKING?......dont mean to change the subject im interested going dual as well...
