hello. doing the j-mod to my auto tranny as we speak. I'm stuck with a dirty hand typing this. The little black cone shaped filter fell out. Not sure how to put it back in. Does the flat part or the slanted part face the transmission when it's slid in place????

thanks for the help guys.
I ended up calling chip at chip's v6. He looked in a shop manual and found it for me. It went in with the flat part towards the tranny and the point sticking out and visible. BTW, I spent 30 min on the phone with my local ford dealer with no help. So, don't ever call those guys for help.
