Supercharger with wastegate

Supercharger with wastegate
iv never heard about this but i dont see why it wouldnt work can u run a waste gate on a supercharger
say i get a procharger with a 15lb pulley and add a waste gate and a digintal boost controller and set it to 6lbs for DDing so once i hit the 6lb mark it will open the wastegate and bleed off all the extra boost so i only use 6psi and then when i go to the track i set it to 12 which is safe on a 6 and make my runs and then put it back down to 6 for the ride home
i know that with a turbo you can do this i know that with a turbo you can have a two step like you can run 6lbs off the line so you dont spin then you tap the button and it will allow u to run 15 for instance (im just making up numbers but u get the point) but iv never seen it done on a supercharger
this way you wouldnt have to worry about boost while dding ur car and then u would have full boost at the track with out haveing to keep swapping pulleys all the time
is this possibel give me some imput

RE: Supercharger with wastegate
Blower by pass is correct. You can also run a blow off valve as well if it's in front of the MAF (it won't work if it's after the MAF since you've already told your car that air is on it's way in).
The blower on my car has it built in. There is an actuator on the side that runs a vaccume and boost line to it. When it reaches a set psi, the valve opens and recirculates the air back into the inlet just prior to the blower. It's set up to re route the air when you let off the gas... that way you don't force a ton of air in while you are trying to slow it down.
