cut the rear cats off and the y pipe and run divorced pipes back to a gt take off thats what im planning on doing

No getting rid of the cats is mostly for sound, and because uncatted pipes are cheaper...you may pick up like 2 or 3 hp by removing them, unless they were clogged to all hell, then they woulda slowed you down. Otherwise your car is slow because of the fact it has 150 hp the sn95's just arent that quick. Start modding

 

There are 4 because of heat reasons. To remove the pollutions a large cat is needed and that gets real hot, so ford split them into two to reduce the heat
