yep the 3.8 responds very well to supercharging.
my 98 went from 120rwhp to 230rwhp with just an 11 psi procharger kit.
the kit and add 42lb injectors with SCT bigair MAF and bigger fuel pump with an SCT tuner and good dyno tune will get about 240rwhp and 290ftlbs of torque on a pre 99 V6 with the rest of the engine stock.
ported heads/cam and ported intakes and you can bring the power well over 300rwhp.
check out the august edition of MM&FF. there is a good article ofMatt Neuharth's pre 99 with a big turbo and a .030" over 3.8 block and 4.2L F-150 V6 crank going 9.80's in the 1/4 and over 600rwhp/torque
