is the shaker system REALLY worth buying? i like the way it looks on our cars... and i know it adds better air flow to the engine... but does it add noticeable power besides looks alone? about how much would it be for parts and installation? My guess is around or about $1200..

by the way.. just got my new 18x10 and 18x9 black bullitt wheels put in... and my 4.10s and everything i need for it, is officially on the way!

 

Its worth it only for LOOKS... sadly the only performance you may get is at 80 on the freeway. Installation should be free if you do it yourself, the only hard part is cutting your stock hood for it. I personally love the look of it and plan on doing it eventualy buts not number one on my list, rims are.

 

i have the shaker applique part. the black part that bolts on to your hood. its for sale on ebay for 115 on ebay right now. click the link in my sig. then you can buy teh shaker from cdc for like 150 i think. then you just need some brackets and things. its not hard. i now havea mach 1 hood on mine so i dont need the applique part anymore. i LOVE the look of the shaker but it doesnt add any power really. sure does look sweet though.
