has anyone ordered anything from moranav6racing? i ordered something like a month ago, and still haven't recieved it. he refuses to answer ANY of my calls, my mailed letters, or any type of contact I try to make with him. I got through once, and his daughter answered and said that he wasn't home, but I should call back, and when I did, no answer... surprise surprise. But, since it's going on a month now, I am wondering if anyone else has dealt with him?

 

what did you order i heard he does all the stuff himself in his spair time from his other daily job and the turn arround time is slow for stuff like cut and welds or heads

 

ported heads, intakes and a camshaft... but he should answer phone calls, postal mail, and whatnot atleast once a month? im not dealing with him anymore... im going to stick with ssms from now on.

 

how much did he charge for all that and did u pay all of it upfront or 1/2 at buy and 1/2 when u get it or what and if u cant get ahold of him call the BBB

better business burow he can get in deep **** for that and loose his state business license for taking money from a customer and then when they call he just ignores and u dont know where ur parts are

 

Morana is in Canada. I'm sure there's a similar thing to the BBB there, but it may not be as easy.

BTW, I would assume that he's just tough to get in touch with. A lot of the relatively small-scale performance shops can be.

 

i didnt know he was in canada but if i payed some one 1-2 thousand for parts for my car i sure as hell expect him to answer the phone when i call him even if he missed the call he could call u back with in a month id be pissed if i where you id be calling BBB or some one to see what was going on becuaes thats just bs

 

Oh, I totally agree... I was just saying that he was in Canada, so it might be a little tougher.

I've had similar experiences, and it's definitely annoying, and there's not always much you can really do about it. I've always heard good things about Morana, so hopefully everything works out.

if you'd like it, yes. but you will need 915 beehive valve springs. the cam sounds excellent in a 6 with flowmaster dual exhaust. But, I want more out of my car as far as n/a goes. plus, the record of 15 hours for installation of a camshaft has been broken. I got it done within 9 hours with the help of one person, one coffee break and a whole lot of where the f*** is this tool at?

I paid 1500 for everything. He was cheaper than ssms which is why I went with him, but I called my credit company and they cancelled the transaction and are looking into him.

Also, I am getting the stage 2 or 2+ power pack from ssms for 2000.

 

This isn't a new issue for Morona at all. Sorry to hear it's happening to you.
