Default Question

Hi im new to the forum as well as owning a mustang. I have a 1995 Stang 3.8l.

Recently though it seems that if I punch the gas even for just a second my tempature gauge goes to L in normal and then immidiately decreases to N. It will do this a few times in a row and when it does this my heater goes from blowing hot air to completely cold.

Im a novice to mustangs, so I thought perhaps my thermostat was messing up so I bought one and replaced it but unfortunatly this fixed nothing.

Any ideas?

Take your car in and have the radiator flushed. You may also want to have the water pump checked out. Have you noticed any other symptoms? Decrease in power? Smoke coming from your tail pipes?

Well I dont seem to notice a loss of power and no smoke comes out of the tail pipes. But I will take it in for the flush and a check up on the pump. Thankyou for the recommendation.
