The guy from my local shop just ordered me a flash tuner called Max energy by Hypertech

There's the link you'll see it as soon as it opens, i just wanna make sure this will get the same job done as the SCT Xcal 2 or the diablosport predator. Its scary cuz its coming out to be $450 Canadian... I just wanna make sure this thing will be similar to the Xcal...

it looks liek a quality product, but it seems very limited, almost like how apple forces you to use itunes and their protected formats. To be honest, I would have gone with the Diablosport or the SCT XCAL, but thats just me.

I thought that with the SCT and the Diablo you could plug it ito your computer (desktop) and download tune maps and stuff from websites. This has to be sent back to the factory.

 

I ordered my X cal from Jegs online, with the exchange as it is and no middle man (your speed shop) it cost about $450 Can with shipping and cross border fees. pending how far north you are, Im about an hour north of the North Dakotaborder in Manitoba.

I also have the CD from SCT, I havent used it yet thoe.

 

you ****ed up you should go see if he can cancel that order because you are know stuck with that 1 or 2 tunes that come on the device no one custom tunes with the hypertech or the superchips unless its a diesel

and the diesels can only tune with the HyperPack which is like the Livewire

SCT or Diablo are the best out their and what most dyno tuners use to custom tune a car
