I know many cars that are well over 100K and running strong. A 94-95 V6 you might be weary of because they were notrious for blowning head gaskets, so as long as you stay away from those I'm sure you'll be fine. When I rebuilt my engine, cause I was putting in my stroker kit, I still had the orignal hone in my cylinders and the rings and bearings were in pretty good condition for 110K.

dpends on how it is driven. if you beat the **** out of her and burnout everywhere and rev to redline for every shift, you might get 150k miles. i know poeple who drive avg and get over 200k miles on their cars. but if you got a stang, you probly want to have fun with it, so it depends on how its driven.

my dad has 96 cougar with a 3.8 that has been dogged. me, my brother and my sister learned to drive with this thing and i drove it for six months when i broke my leg and could not drive a 5-speed, and i am evil to cars. it has 200,000 miles on it and everything is fine mechanically.

well i drive normally, i usually dont race unless provoked, and thats rare....but i have 104 K miles on my 2000 so far..but mainly theyre highway miles.....if i had city miles, itd prolly only have about 40K miles on it total..i heard that when a car has more highway miles than city miles, its better....its this true?

in theory. less stopping and going. it is better on the car itself.

my 98 v6 had 93k on it and it was running hella nice when i traded it in. heck, the dealership sold it a couple weeks afterwards. it was still running strong. it was my mom's before mine and she took excellent care of it, i took great care of it, hopefully the new owners grants it the same curtosey.
