Default help please!

ok when i drive my steering wheel shakes a decent amount. i thought it was just my wheels being off balance but i just had them balanced a few hours ago and its still happening. this has been going on for like 2 weeks now and i cant figure out what it is.. i can kinda feel my shifter shaking too so im thinking its something with the suspension or something. my alignment is a little off i think because my car pulls a little to the left (which i plan on getting fixed on monday or tues. asap basically) when i was having my wheels balanced today they said one of the wheels was kinda jumping because the tire was off balance or something so they took the tire off and put it back on and they said it was all better. i dont know whats wrong but the shaking is annoying my horribly and i dont know what its from so i dont know how to fix it. can anyone help?

edit: i just saw the other thread right below mine about the guy thats having a simliar problem. i would like to add that i had my rims and tires checked for abnormal wear dents and any other problems and they were fine. im going to take it in to get aligned asap but i dont think thats actually the problem because i can see the steering wheel shaking back and forth (as if someone is shaking it trying to go left and right really fast) does anyone know where i can take this to get looked at? i would rather not take it to a dealer because they take forever and they have never done anything but make me mad

hm i dont see how i would have bent a rim.. i never hit a curb or anything.. no potholes.. im careful about that

i think i might just have to take it to the dealer on monday and have them check everything. i just remembered that my sister is in portland so her car is sitting at home so at least i will still be able to get around.. but i think im going to have to resort to taking it to the dealer. i will make sure they check the brakes though

should i drive my sisters car until i can take mine to get it fixed? i dont want to mess something up more than it is..

go ahead and align if you wanna, but I'll tell you I have had tires fail internally and show no signs with a visual inspection.
steel belts or other layers separate.

MantaDreams is right and I have the same thing happen. Last time I bought new tires for my Ranger I had a vibration in the front end, they claimed it was my truck's fault but it never did till the new tires so I kept going back till they 'finally' discovered the tire was coming apart inside.

hmm alright well my car is parked at home for now. im taking it to the dealership tomorow and have them look at everything. if they dont find anything wrong and im still having this problem ill know its the tires (internally)

is there anyway for anyone to determin if they are failing internally?
and would just one of them failing cause this shaking because its pretty violent (violent enough that im driving my sisters disgusting car over mine. i even cleaned it a little (everything i had to touch) because it was so disgusting)
