does anybody know how to disengage the tensioner pulley on a 96 3.8? i'm installing my new ac compressor and i need to know how to get the tensioner loose

Take a 1/2 ratchet or breaker bar and insert it into the tensioner where there is the appropriate slot, turn clockwise, that's it.
