well my question is, i goofed and bought a 94-98 CAI not noticing i didnt get the one i needed for 00' (my mustang is a 00') it looks extremely simlar would i be able to use it? the only thing i see diffrent is 2 air hoses where there should be one i'm assumig one is a breather hose right?

 

Well I don't think they would make one specifically for one gen. if it fit the other.
The intakes are different so I am not sure about the TB location and the way the cai pipes bend.

I guess you could try it, but I would just send it back for the one that fits your year.

 

i'll try to return it, i had tried to put it on, but failed. i got it off ebay and the seller said that all sales are final, so i'll find out soon i guess. its my fualt tho i should had looked more closely at the auction

 

ended up buying the right CAI today. i guess i answerd my question in a way

thanks right now i dont have much going on with the mustang. at the moment i have a K&N and the IAC plate installed before the winter i would like to do my exhaust and if i have the funds my pully's currently all my money goes to school sadly and if we have another witner in ohio like we did last year i doubt i will be doing much of anything during the winter
