first car, first problem
hi, i just became a member to this site, i just turned 17 and i bought my first car, a black 95 mustang, love it more than anything. now i've got my first problem, when i go to turn it often takes more time then it should to catch, it usually takes longer in the morning when it hasnt been startedall night, seems to catch a lot easierafter its been started recentlyand my check engine light is on, i've been told that this could be just a line thats having trouble getting the gas to the engine, i would love some advice on what it might be, and how many bones it'll cost me, thanks : )
An auto parts store should be able to read the code for free. If the CEL lights is not related to hard starting a fresh $10 fuel filter might be a good idea along with some injector cleaner, the kind you add to your gas. Other general things to check on a car: clean air filter (remove the rubber boot on the end of the filter housing for max flow) tire pressure, clean out the throttle body.
