in the future i'm gonna have my upper and lower manifolds ported & polished on my '02. i want to port the upper for a 70mm throttle body http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...1&comp=LRS, but as you can see, this says 99-00. will it work on my '02.

and i will probably remove the imrc on the lower. i thought i heard somewhere this makes putting everything back together easier b/c you don't have to hook the stuff up to work the imrc again. i may be wrong on this, can someone let me know?

 

actually you do need a 01-04 throttle body. the throttle cable linkage is different between the 2. if you wnat to you could buy the throttle body then buy a throttle cable from ford. they are pretty cheap. i think like 20-30 bux.

yea, ur exactly right. the top one has the type of linkage that the 01-04 need and the botom has the 99-00 have.

 

I was told by BBK that they don't make 70mm TBs. Make sure you call and ask first before you do anything.

 

yeah... i check bbk's site and they don't have it listed.. just the 65mm. but i heard mustangsunlimtd is a very good dealer and i don't think they would throw something that is bogus on there from what i've heard

does anyone (or someone ya'll know/heard about) have a 70mm TB from bbk for the 3.8 01-04????

 

I'm just saying I don't want you to get screwed. Brother performance did that to me. I bought a 70mm from them and they sent me a 65mm and said that they didn't have a 70mm.
