How much to install new struts/shocks?
How much would it cost me, on average, to get somebody to install new shocks and struts on my 95 V6? I already have the actual struts and shocks (bought some new takeoffs from a 2002 'stang on Ebay). Thanks in advance.
Paying someone to do it could vary depending on where you go. It could be as cheap as $150 or as high as $500. Check with gas station garages, you can normally find one thats pretty cheap for labor charges. A lot of places won't let you bring in your own parts though since they make there money on commission of parts they sell.

Mustangs don't have springs to compress. I did my own struts and shocks, The rear shocks are a piece of cake. The front struts however, are a pain. The bolts holding the struts to the front spindle are hard to loosen and tightening/ loosening the strut from the strut tower is a pain too. use a prybar to keep the strut from spinning. I used screwdrivers and I broke two. (Stupid on my part) If you have airtools it shouldn't take long but if you use muscle power like me it may take longer. Overall though it's something you can do in your own garage their is no need to pay someone else tp do it.
i had my front end aligned after having my tires/rims put on at firestone........ i mentioned that i had springs and struts/shocks on the way they quoted me 300 to install'm
