I have a 2000 torch red v6 mustang. I looked up the stock 0-60 and it said 7.3 sec W/ 190Hp, and weighs 3069 lbs.. My bro has a1999 Saab 9-3 turbo 4door and his 0-60 is 7.0 secs w/ 185Hp, and weighs 3120 lbs.. They both are automatic.Is a stang really that slow even though its specs seem better. Also my stang seems alot quicker so that makes the stats even more puzzling. My stang is modded slightlywith A K&N CAI and Gt catback exhaust.(But that shouldn't effect it that much). But my main question is are these statistics true and if so why.(Can you answer all question, thanks)

First of all those times are with a manual and a better than par driver, autos are much slower than that. Auto Mustangs can run as low as 9s doing 0-60 and can loose up to and even over 20% of their power due to the tranny and drivetrain loss, as opposed to manuals which sit around 16%. There are a lot of factors that go into speed, and 0-60 isn't a good way to determine performance, as the 1/4 mile is a much better way, too many variables that influence cars and their 0-60 as opposed to those that go into the 1/4 mile.
