Default Chip question?

How much of a performance gain would a superchip give a 2000 v6 mustang. I don't know alot about them so could someone explain. Could anyone reccomend a brand. Can someone tell me if this one is good.

Every one is going to tell you to get a sct xcal v2 tunner, which I agree. it depends on your mods to how much HP gain you get, but stock I've read it will gain a V6 20HP. http://www.vmptuning.com/store/index...&parent=66

Damnmit..............for the last time, these chips, tuners, software, ect. WILL NOT, net you 20 rwhp with a V6, the best, for a stock car, and I mean the best, may be a smidge over 12 rwhp, but most people will get around 6-9 rwhp.

No, I need to install my:

P/P Cobra Intake Manfiolf
75mm Polished Throttle Body
GT-40 Heads
30lb injectors
90mm ChromeMAF
Saleen Side Skirts
Custom Fender Flares
C-Pillar Scoops

then get myself a Saleen style rear bumper
then worry about the custom yellow/black paint job lol.

If the gain of hp is 6-12i don't want to spend $400.00
Can anyone recommend a mod that will give the mustang more power i have like $800 to spend.
(don't recommend a dual exhaust setup or a K&N CAI b/c i already have those

Nitrous is pretty much your best bet then. A tuner is not all about making hp, they're also about getting rid of that crappy *** auto lag.

I had a chip in my old car when I bought it and as soon as you put another mod into the car, the chip will fry unless you re-program it, or at least mine did. [:@]
