The best cold air I know of is probably the mac cold air intake. Its more expensive then the plastic ones but its supposed to put out 9rwhp. Its $145 at rpm outlet http://www.rpmoutlet.com/musv6maccai.htm and most places don't sell it for cheaper than $160.

i have a MAC CAI on my 00v6...i like it as far as im concerned. It gives you better gas mileage (waaay better gas millegae on the highway than i did with the stock intake..maybe 450miles in one tank on highway alone) and gains of about 5 or so hp. It makes a cool sucking sound. I think u can get the ebay cai and theyre just as good and way cheaper, about $35-45 bucks.

But I've heard alot of pissed off customer from RPM outlet too though. My theory still goes you get what you pay for. For the most part anyways.

I like the Mac because it's puuurdy. But you can get a know off for 75% less money on ebay.
By the way, everything from 1999 up to 2004 is the same on all V6's.

What were customers pissed off about from rpm outlet? I just ordered a cai and was thinking about ordering some other stuff from them later on.
