now i have read all the comments on problem with the transmission on here but i dont think that is really my problem. i got my v6 last year and its been running like a dream. but on monday i drove to my friends house and was not even beating on the car and it was running perfect. when i got there i was doing some interior work and i pulled the **** off of the shift. now my car is auto and the overdrive button is on the shift as with all the other 1999 stangs but it is connect by the wires. one of the wires split in half and i believe that it threw a code or just locked up my converter.. did this happen to anyone else? well i used some other wires and connected them back but my transmission is shifting at a very high rate in first gear into second. but yesterday i changed the tranny fluid and the gasket and everything seemed great under there..... any suggestions?

 

does neone else have ne ideas?
