Default help headlights

I know HID are the birghtest but im not paying 250 for headlights. What is the brightest non hid bulbs for our mustangs(2002)?

i have a question on headlights.. the outside plastic has this film/ haze on it.. how do i get that off and make it look new again?

Local auto parts stores should have a kit for restoring headlight lenses.

Or you can get a plastic polish and some sand paper, sand it down with some heavy grit and progressively sand onto lighter and lighter grits, then polish it. Its essentially the same as the headlamp restore kits.

it will take more than lightly sanding. you will want to use like 1000 grit paper for a long time then use 1500 for a long time then use 2000 grit for a very very long time. sand in different directions, not all the same way. then get some plastx or some kind of plastic polish and use that on them. they wont look perfect before the polish, the polish is what really helps.

just buy new smoked ones at Blue oval industries . com for $150 shipped for the pair. That's what I did.

I forgot what its called but cant you paint them instead of buying smoked ones? Or does the paint chip off?
