Hey, I just got a new Mustang 04' V6, black, 20k miles, for $14,999. really happy with it, I just noticed all the other 2004 V6 models really dont have Hood scoops. Did they make only a few with the hood scoop, or did the previous owner do this Mod? I read somewhere that there was a Pony package in 04 that allowed the buyer to customize there V6 mustang with the hood scoop stock from the factory, is this true? Thanks again

They came with reverse scoops I believe. At least mine did but I think you can only put the scoop on the normal V6 hood.

 

You can put the gt scoop on a reverse hood, and apparently it looks like s***, which I think it would anyway.

 

Why? Do you really notice it?

 

I haven't actually seen it, but that's just what I've heard from a number of people. I think the rubber part still shows in the front,and it looks awkward and out of place.
