Default need some help

okay so I was driving to class this morning and i noticed that the radios power kept surging when i would change stations and stuff but i didn't really think anything of it.. then about 10 mins later or so my car completely shut off while i was driving off of the freeway.. the electrical, engine and everything went dead.. fortunately it restarted a few seconds later and didn't do it again.. also lately its been hesistating a bit to start up.. anybody have any ideas what it could be?

Sounds like a charging issue, either battery or alternator. Run to a parts store and have them test it out for you.

Beside what Ryan said I would check the battery connections. A loose or corroded connection can cause the problems you had.

yeah.. i think i'm going to change out the connectors and battery cables cus their kinda old.. and seeing as how the battery is just shy of a year old i couldn't think it would be anything wrong with that.. as far as corrosion goes tho the terminals are completely clean
