Default flowmasters

Hi, I have a stock 2000 v6 vert right now and I was wondering if I put just a flowmaster single chamber muffler on it would it sound a lot better?

Probably anything is better than stock. I havnt personally heard it. But i doubt it would sound worse.

Swapping the muffler will give your car a good idle tone and a more noticable sound difference at high rpms. Other than that it will seem almost the same as stock. I think it's actually the best thing to do untill you can go for the complete system. You don't want your car sounding awesome and not having any pipes coming out the back. That would just look weird.

My buddy with a 05 4.0 has dual 1 chambers. I dont like the tone once the RPMs get over 1800-2000. Yeah, wait till you can go duals woth some Delta Flow 40's or even 50's for a nice tame increase in volume, but no drone.

get a force pro series muffler part# FRC 5201 from summit racing. they are less than $40 and pretty much the same as a flowmaster that costs twice as much. in fact they have alittle better sound qulity to them and their craftman ship is IMO better
