What are the best headers to purchase and what brand? I tried to buy hooker headers but they don't make headers for v6 mustangs.

 

Go with some BBK Headers[&:]

 

....or MAC. Both are good companies for V6 parts.

Well on a 2000 stang your money was well spent, but could have been better spent. Actually the best thing to get is long tubes and an H-pipe for that. I have new pricing on all my MAC exhaust parts if you guys and gals are interested.

unfortunately no you didn't. aftermarket shorties offer no power gains over the stock headers

MAC long tubes are the only headers i would use other than stock headers regardless of single port tubular or 99+ log style headers.

even the old cast iron manifolds flow almost as good as MAC shorties or JBA or BBK
