these shifters will get ya done!!!!

The short throw is a lot better for racing, and they are more durable.... if you are pounding the stock shifter, it will wear out fast. TORE my STOCK shifter up in about 6 mos ( a lot of track time and street too lol)

UPR makes a great shifter:

http://www.baltimorestreetmods.com/Shifters.html

These are all made from aircraft aluminum, and are adjustable so you can set em where ya want em. andBTW, many of the shifters on the market today are MADE BY UPR, in bulk, and sold to other companies who rebox em and sell em for twice as much....

B&M = $193.... UPR = $129

"UPR shifters are made
from the highest quality materials available, features a (Lifetime Warranty).
-Offset preload springs find 3rd gear for you, so you won't miss ever again!
-Smooth, Precise shifts
-Stainless Steel Shaft & Pivot Ball making it the strongest on the market unlike the competition
-Won't rust like competitors cheap mild steel nickel plated design
-Adjustable Shifter Stops to prevent shift fork damage
-Infinite Position Adjustable Height and angle, for smooth, fast, comfortable shifts
-Heavy Duty Construction
-No welded or cast parts
-100% CNC Machined from 6061 T-6 Billet Aluminum
-Utilizes a higher ratio pivot mechanism for smooth and precise power shifting
-Made in the USA
-Fits all factory and Aftermarket shift ***** 12mm.

All Blu Thunder shifters are constructed from the best grades of aluminum. We are also the only
manufacturer to make their center shaft out of Stainless Steel and use the highest quality
components without trying to take you to the cleaners at checkout time.

Blu Thunder shifters are used by more winning NMRA, FFW, WFC and class leaders to make it
the most trusted shifter in any application from street use, drag racing or road racing time and
time again."
