engine misfire
Do you have compression on that cylinder? If not it could be your valves aren't operating correctly. This should be obvious if you remove your valve covers. Has there been any work done recently? Also could be head gaskets given the year of your vehicle. Just replaced mine with '99 OEM gaskets that will not blow out ever. Picked up some HP along with it!! Super nice. Anyways check the compression for that and ajacent cylinders. If it's head gaskests you will probably get low compression between two adjacent cylinders or if you see bubbles in your radiator while running.
If it's an intermittent miss I doubt it would be a valve problem. I've had brand new plugs and wires be no good so don't be so quick to rule them out. Swith them with another cylinder then if the miss moves to the cyl you know for sure it's one of those.
Well, we need more info on the plugs, coil pack, and wires, in othe words, are they all new, did you have the problem before you changed them, etc.
If you're 100% sure it's not them, then I'd get a compression gauge and start checking your compression, as stated, you may be having valve problems, or other internal issues if it's not an electrical issues (which is what I really think it is).
