Yeah, you'll definitely want a tune after heads/cam.

Other than the stuff in the "installation" kit, you may need pushrods and/or shims for your rockers also for adjusting the rockers.

That's a couple things, at least.

99% of the people that preach about the power pack don't actually have it, they're "planning" on getting it.

I was thinking about getting their shortblock sometime later...Not a definate plan, but I thought about it...A head and cam swap isnt a big deal for me to do in a weekend with a buddy. I've pulled my engine before, and to be honest I just hate trying to put everything back together like mating the trans to the motor. But arnt the actual blocks identicle? Just a high performance rotating assembly?

Damn, nanaki is knocking them dead today.

Anyways, supersix makes some decent stuff, but it would be easier just to buy the heads, cam, and gaskets from them, and port/polish your own upper/lower intake. All it takes is a few dollars worth of tools, and a few hours, and whala, stage 2 port job, stage 2 + is a little harder, and only the best can do stage 3, but you could save a nice bit of change just p/p your own upper/lower intake. Then you still need the TB, fuel injectors, and MAF recalibration/new MAF. In short, it's a lot of money, I'd just get a 8-10 psi vortec and be done with it for a while.
