Yawn... He didn't "ask" for opinions, but when you post on a public forum, you're inviting input... especially when you're asking help in misbadging your car.

I don't care about "making others look bad", and I am FAR from being "bent out of shape". I honestly don't care... I'll never SEE the car, probably, let alone drive it, but YOU shouldn't get bent out of shape, either, when someone points out the truth... that badging a V6 as a Mach 1 is the DEFINITION of "rice".

Oh, and I have and will happily call a misbadged GT or Cobra "rice" as well.

There are rocker stripes that you can get that read "mustang". I bet no one would oppose of that.

Just being nitpicky, but what would you misbadge a Cobra as? A GT-40? lol

Cobra R, Shelby, etc.

Obviously, it's more difficult to "misbadge" a Cobra because you're near the top of the foodchain. My point was that any attempt to pretend like your car is better than it really is, is "rice"... as much as that word is overused.

I agree... rims are not the same as a complete rebadge. In this case, it IS a complete rebadge. As far as we know, it's going to look EXACTLY like a Mach from the outside, but be a V6 in every way that actually matters.

Yeah, but i doubt you see any GT's w/ cobra badges....

Its not rice untill you take the name/badge of a higher up model and put it on your lower end.

mach 1Body kit - the Mach 1 name =/ rice

mach Body kit + mach 1 stripe = rice

GT + Cobra Bumper =/ rice

GT + Cobra emblums = rice
